NenaHalena makes a bold return to Jonas Rathsman's dependably consistent ELEMENTS label a year on from the otherworldly single 'Shae'. The Gothenburg based label owner rightly enlisting another beautiful ethnically influenced club heater. Again, NenaHalena proves an ability to produce cosmic music that still maintains its earthly anchor. The careful selection of authentic percussion instruments layer as if they were being performed by a group, drum programming is not a word that meets the tongue while listening. Pairing the swathes of trance-inducing polyrhythms is a large club-filling kick and an irresistible bass groove that drives the tune along down it's winding path. Amongst the rich layers of arpeggiating synths and soothing pads, a refreshing vocal punches through the breakdown proving more so that this is a very human composition delivering a humanistic message...
